Opportunity Description
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team. As a social media marketing manager you will be responsible for setting up, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
1: Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, bench-marking messaging and audience identification.
2: Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
3: Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
4: Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
5: Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
6: Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
7: Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
8: Develops strong and innovative digital marketing strategies, using SEO, SEM and other techniques to drive traffic to company pages and generate interest in company products and services.
9: Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement.
Skills Required:
1: Solid background in Marketing, Public Relations, New Media, Business, or Communications
2: Fluent English speaker
3: Hands-on experience as a specialist in digital/social media
4: Familiarity with social analytics tools
5: Impeccable writing, editing, consulting, communication, and presentation skills
6: Knowledge of SEO, CRO and web design is highly preferable.
7: Must be efficient in using technical language effectively.
8: Should know what makes a product innovative in the digital world
9: Should be comfortable writing and communicating effectively about technology.
10: Must be able to think creatively about innovative approaches to marketing.
