Experience: 5+ years in SEO, hands-on Location: Fully Remote About the Role We're looking for an experienced SEO Specialist who can independently own our organic search strategy, from technical audits to content optimization to local visibility, plus staying ahead of how content ranks in AI-driven search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, etc.). Responsibilities Conduct full technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt) Own on-page SEO: keyword mapping, meta tags, header structure, internal linking, content optimization Design and maintain effective site structure/architecture for crawlability and UX Implement and manage schema markup (structured data) across the site Manage local SEO: Google Business Profile, local citations, NAP consistency, local link building Set up and manage tracking in Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and Google Tag Manager — including tags, triggers, and custom event creation Develop strategies for visibility in AI search/answer engines (AEO/GEO) Perform competitor analysis and keyword research Track rankings, traffic, and conversions; report on KPIs regularly Collaborate with content, dev, and design teams to implement SEO recommendations Stay current with search engine and AI algorithm updates Requirements (Must-Have) Minimum 5 years of proven SEO experience (agency or in-house) Strong grasp of technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO Hands-on expertise in schema markup / structured data implementation Strong understanding of site structure and information ar
