Opportunity Description
The Assistant Manager Operations plays a key role in supporting the operations function and setting up teams for success. The focus of this role is to assist in operations management, partner with cross-functional teams, and contribute to developing strategies, initiatives, and resources that ensure operational excellence in achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Manager Operations to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring smooth execution.
Act as a bridge between the operations department and other support functions.
Manage conflicting demands, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities to deliver operational projects effectively.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing processes.
Manage and/or support assigned activities including events and special projects.
Ensure smooth cross-functional team coordination for ongoing projects and new initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between field personnel and other departments such as administration, management, and accounts.
Coordinate with departments for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks across operations.
Qualifications & Experience
2–3 years of demonstrated experience in operations or an administrative role.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BBA Hons, BSc Hons, MBA, or equivalent) in a relevant field.
Proficiency in MS Office.
