job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Java & PHP Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for automation and device management applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, API integration, and automation processes, ensuring the seamless operation of connected devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using Java and PHP.

Design and implement RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication for device management and automation.

Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Develop and maintain cron jobs, background services, and task schedulers for automation.

Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.

Integrate with third-party APIs, IoT platforms, and cloud services.

Monitor and debug system performance, resolving bottlenecks and optimizing code efficiency.

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to ensure seamless application functionality.

Document technical specifications, API endpoints, and system architecture.

Stay updated with the latest backend development trends, frameworks, and best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a backend developer, with expertise in Java and PHP.

Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and MVC architecture.

Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot (Java) and Laravel or CodeIgniter (PHP).

Proficiency in database design and query optimization (SQL & NoSQL).

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Experience in automation technologies and tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or Selenium is desirable.

Knowledge of device communication protocols (MQTT, WebSockets, etc.) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills, debugging abilities, and performance optimization expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with IoT, M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communication, or device management platforms.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven development.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
