The Backend Developer role at CV Meetup is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for server-side application logic and integration of the front-end elements. This role is essential to creating the logic, defining and maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

• You will collaborate with the frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Develop high-quality, clean, and performant code to implement both user-facing features and core backend functionality.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, testing, and maintenance.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs, and maintain code quality.

To be successful in this role, you must be a problem solver with a passion for programming and software development. We are looking for candidates with:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a backend developer.
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in multiple backend languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Express, Laravel, Django).
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
• Strong understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of coding best practices and ability to implement them in the workflow.
